Why Mentorship Matters

Show how mentorship and role models help girls stay in sport, build confidence, and explore future paths.

Increased Confidence

Role models provide the blue print for success, helping young athletes believe in their own potential on and off the field.

Retention in Sport

Girls who have mentors are significantly more likely to continue playing through their teenage years.

Career Exploration

Athletes learn how the skills developed on the court translate to leadership roles in any professional field.

Building Support Systems

Establish lasting connections with community leaders who offer guidance beyond the game.
